About Event

GYMNASTICS CAMP - designed for all gymnastics lovers, from beginners to recreational pros!

The Yard's 5-day camps take your gymnastics enthusiast through the fundamental acrobatic skill-sets, strength and fitness and build confidence across all acrobatic apparatus, including proficiency on trampoline. Campers are arranged according to a mixture of age, ability and experience to keep each camper challenged, learning and having fun with similar aged peers.

Campers will enjoy exploring:

Strength, Physical Preparation & Fitness
Tumble track & pit work for tumbling fundamentals and technique
Core skill-sets on a variety of different apparatus
Rolling, jumping, weight-bearing, handstanding, cartwheeling, somersaulting, front and back handsprings and much much more!
Fundamental skill-learning and confidence building on Uneven Bars, Balance Beams, Floor and vault
Acrobatic obstacle courses and FUN group games & friendly Challenges.
Set goals at the beginning of the week and see your progress with your coach.

Campers finish the week stronger, fitter, with confidence, some new skills and heaps of new friends!

Camp programs are open to all abilities, The Yards progression-based learning focus allows children to develop at their own pace with modified progressions based on their individual experience and abilities.
