1.Ukulele Lessons for Kids
Ukulele lessons for kids are the ideal
perfect first instrument, to begin with. Primary schools all over Singapore has
been conducting ukulele lessons for students at primary 4 level. This is no
coincidence. There are plenty of benefits to learn ukulele! For instance, it takes
only 1 finger to get into the C-chord position. Definitely a confidence booster
for many!
The common belief of Ukulele as a toy is
not true either. Rockschool, the UK-based examination board, offers to grade up
to grade 8! Ukulele players such as Jake Shimabukuro and the up and rising Feng

2.Acoustic Guitar Lessons for Kids
Our Acoustic Guitar Lessons have been a
top choice for many kids over the years. Our experienced and dedicated teachers
always find ways to make the learning process fun and enjoyable. So that your
child is motivated to spend more time with his/her guitar!
The acoustic guitar is suitable for ages
10 and above. However, if you are looking to sign-up a child under 10 years of
age, we will need to assess the child prior to lesson. This is because guitar,
compared to ukulele, can be rather challenging for beginners. Having a
difficult start may diminish the enthusiasm of a child who wishes to pick up
any music instrument, so it is important to assess if the child is ready for
this new challenge.

With 3/4 sized bass guitar available
today, bass lessons are now suitable for kids too! Bass is the foundation of a
band. Without a bassist, a band will have a weaker sound. Try this experiment,
roll the bass off your speaker and listen to your favorite songs. Your favorite songs will likely be less
impressive to your ears.
Traditionally, the piano is the key
instrument to allow children to have good music education. Bass guitar lessons
work very well with the music syllabus set by MOE schools too. With the

of the student by learning actual rock songs and use them in your exam?
Rockschool is a UK-based music examination board with fully accredited
qualifications and global recognition. While we will never insist on our
students on the examination route, students who do get a chance to document
their progress. Some also choose to take the examination as a kind of challenge
for themselves. At the end of the day, it is a win-win taking exam or not.

4.Piano Lessons for Children
Ideally, piano lessons for children must
be fun and safe. Together with strong teaching pedagogies, experienced and
patient teachers who help develop the child to his maximum potential. Enrolling
into the right school is potentially a make it or break it situation.
The best time to start piano lessons will
be different for every child, but most will be ready between the ages of 5 to 9
years old. The cognitive, motor, and language developments during this stage
makes the age of 5 an exciting time to begin piano lessons.
Having said that, piano students can
start lessons after age 8 and all the way up to adults! The advantages that

incorporates multiple learning layers. Music theory is also taught. And what’s
more, no musical background is required!
There are 3 different Beginner courses
(depending on age) and 1 Advancing course. These are suitable for a variety of
age groups and learning styles. The course involves playing with a backing
track for every song to simulate ensemble playing.
The genre of songs comprises a broad
range of modern music styles that include rock, baroque, classical, jazz,
blues, and reggae. We highly recommend children start with this piano syllabus

Does the
size of the drum set matter?
Yes. While they are adjustable, drum sets
are designed mostly for adults in mind. Most young children will have
difficulty with the pedals for the kick drum and hi-hats as they are loaded
with a stronger spring. Also, the size of the toms also makes it harder for a
shorter child to reach around the kit.
Vinnie Classroom equips our drum studios
with drum sets to fit a child who is 70-90cm tall! And students also use
drumsticks specially designed for young children. All this means your child
develops good habits right at the start of his/her drumming journey!
