Cognitive Development Training:

Started in 2006, our Cognitive Development Learning Centre in Singapore provides scientifically backed cognitive (brain) development programmes for learners aged 5-12 years old to help them skyrocket their mental capacity, intellectual performance, and overall learning efficiency.
Our programmes are designed to actively challenge, stimulate and improve key underlying cognitive (brain) skills so that our students can learn successfully and confidently within and beyond the classroom.
Book-learning and paper qualifications are no longer a guarantor of success after school. Which is why our cognitive development programme puts a heavy emphasis on brain-based experiential learning to help our children develop mental acuity and agility to adapt to different challenging situations.
 
Using a wide range of targeted and progressive brain-based activities, our programmes help students to learn faster, focus better, remember more, and maximize their overall brain performance.
Key Highlights of our Cognitive Development Training Programme
Progress and Pace Based on the Child’s Abilities
We see each child as a unique learning individual with their own strengths and areas for improvements. As such, we do not employ a mass training approach (where every student is expected to learn and progress at the same pace); rather, we progress through the activities based on each child’s capabilities and gradually stretch them to their maximum learning potential.
Engagement Mode for All Learner Types
We recognize that there are different learning styles and preferences for different students. As such, we actively and intentionally incorporate activities that will support ALL learner types – Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic (VAK Learning Model). 
By providing activities in all 3 learning modes, we aim to provide a rich educational environment for our learners. Besides catering to the child’s preferred style of learning, exposure to the other learning styles will also help them hone and develop a well-rounded multi-mode learning personality that can adapt in various learning situations within and beyond the classroom.
Small Class Size for Active Engagement
With our small trainer to student ratio (1 trainer to max. 6 students), it allows us to engage each learner more actively and assign activities/tasks based on each child’s learning needs and progress.
No two students will be expected to work on the same tasks at the same speed/time, rather, our trained brain coach will be actively moving around and guiding each student on their assigned activity/task for the session.
Pre & Post Cognitive Abilities Profile
All children enrolled in our Cognitive Development Training Programme will undergo a comprehensive cognitive abilities profile to help us gain a deeper insight into their areas of strengths and areas for development.
After each cycle of training, there will also be a post profile to determine the areas of improvements and check in on the student’s abilities. With the understanding of the child’s profile, it will provide guidance when we are coaching the child in class as well as provide key information on how parents can better support their child’s learning at home.

With ThinkersBox, your child will be coached by our experts to think and learn effectively. When a child cannot concentrate well, they often lose confidence in their ability to persevere with school work. Our concentration improvement classes will help your child strengthen and develop a stronger attention span towards learning. Before enrolling in one of our concentration boosting classes in Singapore, we recommend that you give your child a trial session. These trial sessions give parents a good snapshot of the child’s overall learning and concentration abilities and offer a better idea of which boosting class the child will benefit from the most. Our attention boosting classes will provide long-term value for your child. Through practical and scientifically-backed methods, ThinkersBox will equip your child with the tools they need to become future-ready and brain-smart. Our booster programmes are intensive, highly-targeted and stimulating training sessions usually conducted during the school holiday periods. Booster Programmes range in duration from 3 days to 3 weeks long.
