Piano lessons at Tanglewood are designed to teach students of all ages from beginner to diploma level.
Our unique piano curriculum not only complements the ABRSM and Trinity syllabus, it would enable you to achieve up to Grade 8 more quickly without having the pressure of taking external exams at each grade. We believe this can increase your interest in music and reduce exam stress.
If you are interested in learning to play the piano only but not taking ABRSM or Trinity exams, our curriculum allows you to learn and master the right skills in a structured manner as you could assess by our in-house jury if you choose to do so.
Furthermore, our curriculum will expose you to wider range of music repertoire. Together with the numerous performance events that you can participate in, you will improve your piano playing enjoyment, performance confidence and abilities.

Learn cello from our highly qualified cello instructors. Our cello program caters from young kids to adults at any level with progressive approach to cello playing as a soloist or a chamber musician. An opportunity to engage in different performance platform is offered by joining the school’s prime ensemble group, the Tanglewood Orchestra or in-house chamber groups.

Our ensemble group classes provide an opportunity to our students to perform in a group setting. Students will learn about musicianship, team building and the essence of multiple musical instruments combined together, producing beautiful tone and harmonies. The repertoire ranges from classical to modern music with variety of musical ensemble experiences for all levels. Our ensemble groups perform for concerts, music competitions, charity events and international music tours where we spread the joy and love for music making.

Our Littlewood Music Program is an activity-based music program for pre-school. In this course, your child will be involved in group sessions specifically designed to prepare your child into taking up a musical instrument or singing.
The program offers a complete guidance to nurture every child with a step-by-step process from absolute beginner and getting them musically inclined. Just like learning a new language, learning music will come naturally if it is initiated during early childhood. Identifying rhythms, melodies and introducing different musical instruments through a music appreciation class is best explored between age 3-6.

Our guitar lessons are designed to develop technique in classical guitar playing, refining the fundamental techniques from the Spanish guitar music to contemporary. An opportunity to engage in a guitar ensemble group class is also an option with variety of performance opportunities to explore the beauty of guitar music.
