StepUp was first conceived in May 2011, with our first location at Safra Yishun. Back then, we were primarily a student care provider which explains the ‘Learning’ in our name, and dance was meant as a complement to this core service to be conducted on weekends

StepUp’s Jazz classes observes and practices
the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) Syllabus.
CSTD was founded in 1933 to raise the
standard of teaching in Australia and focuses on the 4 ‘Es’, Expressions,
Education, Encouragement and Enjoyment.
Students from as young as age 5 can begin
their Jazz journey from the Pre-Modern grades and participate in the annual
CSTD Exams conducted at StepUp.

2.Dance Classical Ballet
PROGRAMME DETAILS
At StepUp, our Ballet classes are
conducted in accordance with the framework and syllabus offered by the Royal
Academy of Dance (RAD).
The RAD offers an internationally
recognised portfolio of examinations and assessments which is designed to motivate
and encourage students of all ages and levels of ability, through a systematic
measurement of progress and attainment. Students can start with the Pre-School
dance curriculum, move up through the Pre-Primary and Primary levels and then
into the eight Graded levels and six vocational levels.
Complemented by our annual RAD BAllet
Exams, Termly Showcases, Dance Competitions, Dance Recitals and Performances,

3.Hip Hop
PROGRAMME
DETAILS
Keen to groove to the beat and indulge in
over-the-top poses, StepUp's Hip Hop classes will be the provider of your
choice to kick-start your Hip Hop journey.
With a performance-based approach,
students get to bring their moves and grooves out of the dance studio and onto
the center stage. Our active partnership with organizations like SAFRA and
Singapore's Children Society ensures plenty of performance exposure for our Hip
Hoppers to bring out their best!
For students who are keen to push their
dance limits, we welcome them on board our awards-winning Competition teams.
