Mind On Mathematics (MOM) is a programme
that we developed based on a constructive approach where our teachers display a
wide range of facilitative skills - negotiating outcomes, support learner
discussion and getting relevant feedback. The key to the programme is the
ability of our teachers to respond to the different learning abilities of our
young minds. Learning mathematics should be fun, we make it so by tailoring our
programme to be more socially mediated. We created and environment that is
conducive for our young inquisitive minds to express themselves freely while
concepts and skills are internalized and mastered through our experienced
teachers.

It is noted that the learning of primary
school science tends to be both exclusive and heterogenous. Our teachers
constantly reflect on how best to design teaching mechanisms through which our
young minds are invited to engage with the evidentiary base of the subject and
record their reflections on it. One of the key successes of the programme is
the use of technology to make the lessons come alive! The extensive use of
guided media resources supports quality learning outcome. By this we mean
learning outcomes that involve conceptual change and a deep understanding of the
content. Mind On Science (primary) programme is a holistic approach that

Mind on Science (secondary) programme
enables students to acquire skills, knowledge and understanding through
computer enhanced learning designs that supports quality learning outcomes.
This involves conceptual change and a deep understanding of the subject matter.
We achieve that firstly by considering students’ prior knowledge and their
desires and building on their expectations. We will then construct topic-based
pedagogies and implement the learning design within the broader programme for

subject is the conventional approach of “Drill and Practice”. We have revolutionized
the learning style by helping students to be engage in their own understanding
and then make it explicit the ‘know how’, so that not only themselves but their
pets can learn bf rom it as well. In the designing of this course, we adhere
very closely to the curriculum and its assessment goals. Our teachers engage
students through commentary and feedback. The aim is to allow students to

This course is structured to teach
students how to analyze methodologically and understand thoroughly policies and
issues. During the course students are also encouraged to discuss objectively
and debate logically on various subjects, rather than rote learning. One of the
strengths of the programme is to train students to listen intensely and think
critically on every single idea and through extensive reading, students are
also taught the various argument techniques which allow them to write vividly
in a simple and concise manner. Each content area has its own use of grammar
and syntax. Our students are taught to learn to write effectively in that area.
At the end of the course, they will be able to effectively manipulate syntax
for optimum meaning in their writing.
