Our Phonics & Reading Program is aimed at preparing children to enter the mainstream education with the necessary reading skills to understand and manage school subjects and succeed in school.
It is a highly effective reading program tailored to meet the needs of each individual student.  The Program combines word memorization and phonics training mixed into a single learning style. Systematic and sequential weekly lesson plan has been developed for the entire program which runs from elementary to advance stage.

This course aims to help pupils in the areas of descriptive, narrative and situational writing. Students will be taught the techniques and skills on how to write a good composition, which is one of the key examinable components in the English language examination. Given the high weightage of marks allocated to composition writing, a good score is crucial to the overall result of the English language examination.

Fostering strong educational development begins even before your child enters Kindergarten. For us, we begin introducing complex themes and subjects to our students in pre-school, so that they can enter Kindergarten with a deeper awareness of what’s expected of them as students, in addition to a confidence-based mindset that can help them make the most out of their experience in school.
We offer two tracks for preschool students in English and Maths, in addition to Phonics and Reading – each of these tracks work to provide our students with a solid foundation from which they can continue to build their academic rigour once they enter into Kindergarten.
Our course in English and Maths aims to ensure that each student is equipped with the basic concepts, skills, and knowledge to feel comfortable and confident when they move into the more rigorous curriculum in Kindergarten.

Our Maths program is developed to provide a structured learning approach focusing on key mathematical skills in line with the latest MOE Maths syllabus.
Mathematics is a hierarchical subject and without understanding of pre- requisite knowledge, the students foundation of the subject will be weak. Thus we focus a lot on ensuring that students have a strong foundation by customising our materials and worksheets according to their needs before moving on to higher level and more challenging questions to ensure complete mastery of the subject.

Megaphonics believes that phonics and reading is absolutely integral towards any child’s educational success. In essence, reading is in everything; students must become literate in all areas of education, including math and science.

This course aims to help students develop a deeper understanding of key Science concepts and guide them in mastering the application of skills and processes.
Students will be taught the Mastery of key strategies which will build their confidence and help them excel in the PSLE Science examination.
