1.Small Group Classes (Primary 1 to Secondary 4)
Our Belief
We conduct Small Group Tuition of
maximum 4 students at our new cozy space
at Hougang Ave 8.
Although it’s small group, it’s not
classroom teaching style. Think of it as 1-to-1 but rotational. It’s very
hands-on in class, so when your child is doing work, the coaches attend to
other kids and go around.
We find that this way is highly
beneficial as they do not sit and wait and expect to be spoon-fed answers.
We believe that every child is unique and
commit to finding out the reasons as to why a child is not able to catch up or
score in Mathematics. There is no hard and fast way to do so, but patience and
perseverance does the trick most of the time.
Lessons are kept as interesting as we
can; and so far, most students have enjoyed coming for our classes. Don't take
our word for it, check out our testimonials! Our style of teaching depends on
the child. But mainly what we do is to help them enjoy the subject. Firstly,
they must like us and enjoy coming for our classes. Naturally, they will start
to enjoy the subject and strive to do better and be motivated. If you ask us,
we think that’s the secret weapon.
We prefer to coach students who are
between the range of failing, and scoring about 65%. The reason is simple.
These kids are usually low in self-confidence, weak in foundation or analytical
skills, and we at Math Nuggets find joy and a great sense of achievement
guiding them to ‘the light’.
Our teaching methods vary according to
how each child learns. Therefore, lessons and materials prepared for each child
will be tailored according to their needs.
Having transitioned from doing 1-to-1 to
small group, we have found that small group tuition embodies the benefits of:
(1) attentiveness from tutor
(2) the ability to customize learning
plans and execute it
(3) peer support and camaraderie.
Every student learns at their own pace,
according to what they are learning in school.

2.Online Classes (Primary 3-6)
We bring real classroom experience to you
with our "Live" Online Classes. Learn from the comforts of your home
and save your travelling time.
Lessons are interactive and your child
can ask questions during or after class. Parents can also learn together with their
children!
All tutorials and worksheets will be made
available for print before each lesson. Weekly homework will be emailed to us
for review and marking. Lessons are recorded so if your child misses a lesson,
you can just watch the lesson replays.
As a value-added service to our students
to ensure their success, all students will automatically get access to our
Problem Sums Mastery Programme.

Attend Regular Class?
If your schedule is already tight, you
may find it hard to fit our regular class time into your schedule.
