1.Junior Discovery
The Junior
Discovery programme is for babies and toddlers, from newborns to four-year
olds.
It is based on the Suzuki method. Nursery
rhymes and chants are used as a stimulus for movement, singing and percussion
playing. Parents are encouraged to observe and respond to their children as
they develop new skills in an un-pressured and stimulating learning
environment. Upon arrival, parents and children gather in a circle to roll the
ball in order to settle down. This is followed by our greeting song and moving
to a drum beat. After exploring and moving up and down to the sounds of the
glockenspiel, familiar songs and rhymes are followed. After just a few weeks,
the order and rotation soon become familiar to the children who then begin to
anticipate and recognize the materials which result in growth in confidence and
good skill development. The music classes not only prepare children to learn a
music instrument, but also develop a foundation for all other learning
experiences.
Children gain social and musical skills
and good abilities in co- ordination, memory, concentration, language,
creativity, self-confidence and physical grace. Each session is 45 minutes and
parents/guardian are to come into the class and share their children’s joy of
musical learning every session.

2.Junior Playtime
The Junior
Playtime is for toddlers and preschoolers, from two-and-a-half to
four-year-olds.
In the Junior Playtime, we introduce note
reading, rhythm, aural skills, recognition of keys, pitch singing, perfect
pitch, musical perception, and memory training. Further aural training includes
dictation and sight singing. This is done through the use of keyboards, musical
toys, percussion instruments, flash cards and other interesting aids. The
students will also play the keyboard and read music scores. The program
prepares the student for further musical studies, and this early exposure helps
them tremendously, as it enhances their self-expression, confidence, motor
skills, creativity and IQ development. More importantly, we make music learning
fun and entertaining, thus laying the right foundation for their future musical
learning journey. The activities and our environment also develop the student’s
cognitive, language, emotional, social and motor skills.
Each session is 45 minutes and
parents/guardian are to come into the class and share them
children’s joy of musical learning every
session.

3.Junior Musician
The Junior Musician
program is for preschoolers, from four-year-olds to six-year-olds.
In this class the students will learn
both the Piano and the Violin. They will learn note reading, rhythm, aural
skills, recognition of keys, pitch singing, musical perception, and work on
technique and posture on the 2 instruments. In the Junior Musician class, we
hope to cultivate the student’s interest and develop the discipline of musical
playing and practicing.
A small class size ensures that the
students get maximum attention from the teacher, and we hope to ease their
transition to individual music class. There will also be opportunities for solo
and ensemble performances to gain confidence. Upon graduation, the student can
then progress to individual classes in their chosen preferred instrument.

4.Drum Lessons
The beats
are the heartbeat of any song and band, and along with it the importance of a
good drummer. Juzmusic Academy’s drum teachers are able to work with both young
children and adults. Our drum lessons are available for beginners to future
rock starts, for those learning for leisure or preparing for exam
certification. Lessons are designed to be fun.

5.Ukulele Lessons
The Ukulele
is a 4 stringed instrument and is a member of the guitar family. In recent
years, this small instrument originally from Hawaii, is rapidly gaining
popularity in Singapore. Learn to strum your favourite tunes and sing along
with it. Learn all about the ukulele as our teachers guide you through the
different music genres most common to the ukulele.

6.Guitar Lessons
Are you
ready to rock with Juzmusic Academy individual guitar lessons for kids? Whether

you sight reading, listening skills and improve your hand coordination when you

7.Wind Lessons
Juzmusic
Academy’s wind lessons include the flute, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet
or the trombone. The lesson covers aspects such as finger technique, breathing,
tone, tonguing, multi-phonics, whistle tones etc. Students may choose to learn
for leisure or work towards the ABRSM certification. Lessons are designed to be
fun, challenging and rewarding.

8.Vocal Lessons
