1.GCE ‘O’ Level Preparatory Course
This course prepares students for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level Examination, the same examination sat for by the local Secondary 4/5 students (16-17 years old) in Singapore Government schools. The full ‘O’ Level certificate is recognized worldwide. With this qualification, students can continue to pursue post-secondary education in local polytechnics or junior colleges in Singapore. They can also choose to pursue their studies in the Commonwealth countries and other countries.The GCE ‘O’ Level Preparatory Course runs on both a FULL TIME and PART TIME basis. Each course lasts for a period of 1-2 years depending on the student’s English proficiency.
Our GCE ‘O’ Level preparatory course syllabus is structured based on the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board Syllabuses for the following subjects: English, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Principles of Accounts.

2.Preparatory Course for Admission in local school.
Currently, there are more than 180 primary schools and more than 150 secondary schools in Singapore. New international students who wish to join the mainstream primary and secondary schools have to sit for the Admission Exercise for International Students (AEIS) or Supplementary Admission Exercise for International Students (S-AEIS) held every September/October and February/March respectively.Our course content is based on the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) Primary and Secondary Syllabus for English and Mathematics and the course materials are selected from MOE-approved textbook list. Hanbridge Institute ensures that our teachers are trained quality educators familiar with the Singapore Education System to help bring our students to their fullest potential.

3.Preparatory Course for International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
This course prepares students for the International English Language Testing System in the four assessment modes: Speaking, Reading, Listening and Writing to attain a minimum band of 5.5. Students will be taught a wide range of vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and critical thinking skills in order to fulfil the IELTS criteria. At the end of the course, students will be able to read, analyse and critique short passages, express in cohesive writing their views and provide accounts of incidences in comprehensive manner. Students will also be able to discuss and express their views vocally, engaging others in constructive conversation, listen to people speaking the English language and understand the content and context of what is spoken.The course focuses on improving the vocabulary and usage of the vocabulary in sentences together with correct grammar in expressing thoughts and opinions. Teachers will discuss different topics every week and provide opportunities for students to practice their skills through exercises and presentations. The mode of instruction will be teacher-centerd delivery with student-centric assessment activities and reinforcement exercises. Lessons will be interactive encouraging students to participate actively and learn more as they use the language more often. Monthly formative assessments will be conducted to test different components alternately and assessment format will be in accordance to IELTS format.
