APPRENTICE
ENGINEER WEEKLY PROGRAM
Apprentice Engineer
Ages 3-5
An introductory course to construction and basic mechanisms that aims to foster
curiosity and the love of learning among our youngest participants.
Children will start with Duplo® and progress to using Lego® over the
course. They will get to develop their fine motor skills and visual-spatial
abilities, while exploring concepts such as cause and effect, gears, pulleys
and more.
JUNIOR ENGINEER
WEEKLY PROGRAM
Junior Engineer
Ages 6-8
Building upon their knowledge and experience from Apprentice Engineer or for
slightly older participants.
Children will be further exposed to a variety of mechanical concepts
using Lego® and the science of physics, such as friction, gravity, gears and
levers, as well as their real-life applications.
SENIOR
ENGINEER WEEKLY PROGRAM
Senior Engineer
Ages 9+
This course is for older participants or those who have completed Junior
Engineer.
Children will be challenged with more complex Lego® machines, and will
continue to learn about various physics and engineering concepts, including
gear ratios, lever classes, stability, among others. They will be inspired to
become more confident learners and problem solvers.

2.Lego Robotics (ages 9+)
Lego Robotics
Ages 9+ or those who have
completed Senior Engineer
Children will take one step
further from making their Lego® robots or machines to programming them, using
the Lego® NXT, Mindstorms, EV3 and Spike Prime systems.
They will learn to do basic
computer coding to bring their builds to life and make their robots perform
different functions.
The projects will reinforce
various science, technology and computational concepts, as well as challenge
their logical reasoning and problem solving skills.
